Software Engineering/Systems Analysis and Design
IS faculty conduct research in the areas of software engineering and systems analysis and design with the focus of developing information systems that meet the needs of both individuals and organizations. As a result, research in this area focuses on the people involved in system development (software engineers and systems analysts and designers, primarily) as well as the people who will ultimately use the resulting systems.
